Everest Three Passes Trek Overview

Everest Three Passes Trek is one of the most adventurous treks on the planet which takes the trekkers deep into the Everest region. The trekkers will get an opportunity to view what lies across Everest, and how the topography elevates to provide the planet’s tallest peak. The trekking is extreme and offers a more detailed image of the harsh territory, cold weather, and frequent human combat in high elevations. Surely Everest doesn’t rise alone. Matter of fact, many high peaks lie across the Everest vicinity – that involves Lhotse (8,516m), Ama Dablam (6,812m), and Makalu (8,463m).Everest Three Passes Trek is home to 118 bird species, rare mammals such as musk deer, snow leopard, red panda, and Himalayan black bear. The vegetation of this area is dwarf-sized, and plants stop flourishing at the height above 5,750m. The Trekker’s Everest Three Passes Trek starts with a scenic 45-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840m). After the flight, the trekkers will be trekking to Phakding (2,610m), where they will be spending the night.

The following morning, after passing through many overhead bridges over the speed-flowing white rivers, they will reach Namche Bazaar (3,440m). Namche Bazaar is an excellent location for trekkers to adjust and is filled with shops, restaurants, and internet cafes. They will also visit close by monasteries; the chief among them is Khumjug Monastery. If the trekkers want to view the cultural Sherpa settlement, they can trek for one hour. The time of acclimatizing at Namche Bazaar, the climbers will also get an opportunity to acquire the first glance of Mt. Everest by trekking up to Everest View Hotel. After a rest day at Namche, they will carry on Everest Three Passes Trek by moving ahead to Thame (3,750m).

This is where their track separates from the outstanding Everest Base Camp Trek that carries to Tengboche. They will follow the Bhote Koshi River to reach Thame. There is a small hydroelectric plant that arrives prior to Thame. The trekker will wake at Thame and brace for another day of hiking against Lungden (4,500m). The tracks are quite difficult, and the trekkers need to hike for around 6 hours to reach Lungden, where they will spend their night. The next day will be thrilling too this day you will cross Renjo La Pass (5380m.). They will leave Lungden behind and move to the Gokyo Lakes area. From Gokyo Ri, the trekkers can view several peaks that are the tallest in the world. After that trekkers will continue the trek where they will get a chance to view yak pastures and graze on them. After a lot of mesmerizing destinations leaving behind and walking 8 hours of Gorak Shep, the trekkers finally will climb Everest Base Camp (5,364m).
