Manaslu Region
Manaslu Region, Located central west of Nepal, making center of Mt. Manaslu 8163m, the eight highest mountain in the world. This region was survey in 1997 for Eco-tourism, 1998 Nepal government declared Manaslu Conservation Area project as second conservation of Nepal. There are about 9,000 inhabitants living in MCA and over 2,000 species of plants, 39 mammals, 201 birds, 3 reptiles and 11 butterflies in 11 types of forest have been reported from the area.
Manaslu Region Trekking offers unmatched Himalayan experience, diverse Culture, combining pristine nature, and breathtaking mountain views. Trekking route is encountered by Mix Gurung community and Tibetan influenced Buddhism community. along the way trekkers can observe hundreds of Buddhist shrines, prayer flags and many old monasteries from back to the centuries.
