Ghorepani Poon Hill trek Overview

The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is possibly the eventual short trek in the mountain ranges. Appropriate for people of all ages, significantly for families with children. this tour can be 4 or 5 days long and still gets into the heart of the Annapurna. Poon Hill (3,21m) is the eventual viewing point for the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche, Varaha Shikhar, and Lamjung Himal. Trekking up to Poon Hill to view the sunrise over these incredible snow-covered mountains is something to be cherished. This trek also involves trekking through vivid villages and rhododendron forests, through the background of the Annapurna always present.

Even for experienced hikers, this is a great establishment to the mountain ranges, significantly if the duration is less. Lodgment together through this established trail is very convenient, and the menus are not disheartening. And, surely, the peak never disheartens either in their completely photogenic attractiveness! The Ghorepani Poon hill Trek is regarded as a simple trek in Nepal. That’s not to tell the trekkers to go directly from their couch to the peaks! A logical level of fitness is needed. But it can also be a family hike, with children and older relatives being capable of taking part and experiencing themselves. This trek completes in Kathmandu through a day at the start and another day at the end in Pokhara. This is an amazing option to begin and end the trek. Pokhara is right in the Annapurna range peaks, so this will be a trek full of snow-covered mountains and incredible landscapes. As on most hikes, the day begins early – around 6 or 7 a.m. Not including the day when trekkers climb on Poon Hill. That day begins prior to dawn, to make it up the highland to view the amazing sunrise over the mountain ranges. After that trekkers will hike back for a morning meal prior to heading off to the next destination.

Every morning, the trekkers set off with their guide, who will be capable of pointing out the most fascinating sights and let them know the names of the peaks while trekking. Lunch during treks is taken in tea houses along the route. On arrival at the tea-houses (hike lodge) where the trekkers are going to sleep, it is a good idea to order dinner directly to provide them time to prepare it. The trekkers can communicate with other trekkers and their guide at the time and after dinner. And to find out what is in store the next day. The trekker should not forget to order breakfast before going to bed, and it is recommended to sleep early on the trek!

Perfect combine of Ghorepani and Langtang Valley

Aarush adventure company arranged for us a two-week two-trek trip in Nepal in October 2024. My initial communication was with the manager Birman Tamang. He listened to my ideas and proposals about what trek we would like and then he created a suitable itinerary for us. For the treks itselves, we were accompanied by the guide Bijay Tamang. He was a very good guide, taking good care of our group from the beginning, organizing transport and arranging accommodation for us. He always looked after us, ensuring everyone was doing fine. I can only give my highest recommendation of this company.
